    Car loans
I had a car repo in 1995 and I just received a call saying that I had to pay for that car debt that was not paid for and is no longer on my credit report. Can they take me to court and make me pay

It sounds like the statute of limitations may be up. That is 18 years ago that it was repo-ed
When was the last time you paid anything whatsoever toward it? What state do you live in?
It being off your credit report my guess is they are trying to get you to make a payment so they can start collecting on it. From everything I have been told once you make a payment the statute of limitations is no longer in effect. If they have a judgment against you though the statute of limitations would not apply BUT it would also be on your credit report I would think. I wouldn't make a payment or agree to make any until I know for sure what they are up to.
Do you have an 800 # for them? Once it is repo-ed they can only go after the difference between what they sold it for minus what you owed.
