    Sick of my black hair
Okay, so about 5months ago I home-dyed my hair with permanent jet black dye and now I'm beginning to get bored of it, but my hair is very thin, so bleaching is not an option! This is the first permanent dye I've put in my hair, and under average lighting its gone a sort of brown/red colour, but its still BLACK, and I want to go to a hayley williams red colour, but I can't until I've maybe drained this black out to a brown, but people say it takes almost a year to get out, and my hair is naturally a dark blonde and I don't want a skunk streak and I'm NO WAYkeeping my hair up all the time! Also the salon stripping techniques will make my hair look horrid :(

    Help?
    Thankyouu, xo

    Oh dear =/
Honey, you will need to go to a salon where they will help strip it out and then they can apply the red. You need it to be stripped out as having thin hair, dark hair makes it look sparse.
You can also use clarifying shampoos that help fade some of the colour out.

    Good luck!

I had LONG black hair to my waist. I have naturally very fine soft hair. The salons wouldn't strip it, because they can't guarantee what color my hair would be afterwards. So we cut it short, into a long shag. It has take almost a year to grow back, but at least the black is gone! I recommend cutting your hair into layers, and use a daily buildup remover shampoo, and extra thick conditioner!

My hair is quite short, now its just above shoulder length so I guess it won't take as long to get it out? I turned a streak of hair blonde with lemon juice about 3days ago :)
    But thank you! :) xxooxox

I dyed my hair black back in October and I'm really getting bored with the color. It had faded a lot but not as much as I want it to and I know I can't dye a lighter color...
