The drain on my washing machine is clogged, any suggestions as to how to unclog it? Cannot move the front loader washer as it is full of water.

Have you tried Liquid plumber or something of that nature? Even just to get it clear enough to drain the full washer and then more fully attack the problem? I like to do the chemical, let it sit the recommended time, and then a pot of boiling water to flush it out.

I've had pretty good luck with household snakes on washer drains. It's usually just lint build-up.

Chemicals should not be used if at all possible.

To drain the washer start a siphon with a short piece of hose. Drain into side by side buckets. You can plug the end, so you can empty the bucket elsewhere.

Use a wet vac to remove the last of the water. You can then move the washer.

Now where is the clog? The likely cause of the clog is lint and chemicals are next to useless.
