    Removing a property lien
I live in New York State and had to file for Bankruptcy. A creditor put a lien on my home and I would like to know how to remove it. What forms must be filled out to have it removed?

Ask the attorney who did your bankruptcy. You should just be able to give the county clerk a copy of the order discharging the debt.

I would go back to the attorney. If the lien was put on after you filed, he should have stopped it.
