Found painful lump in groin area
I am a 39 year old female with history of benign lumps and cysts in uterus, ovaries and breast. I recently found a lump the size of a large pea, and two smaller ones a half inch above that right where my thigh meets my groin. It is not palpable and extremely painful. I have had it only for a few days but has increased in pain substantially. What could it be, and do I see my gynecologist right away? What is in that area that could be bothered.

It could be a swollen lymph node. You should probably go get it checked to rule out any infection.
