    Not sure this goes here.
This past Thursday my grandma had to go to the ER,that morning she went to sleep at 3:00 and woke up at 6:00 and had pain in her right leg so bad she had to crawl!well she called 911 and told them what was going on,when the guys got there to get her one of them said he knew she had water in her leg that was putting pressure on her knee, but they didn't do anything up at the ER.Well all they gave her was pain killers that aren't really working.she has to use a walker right now just to get around.well the pain was so bad she was going to wrap it,but she didn't know if it was a good idea so she called the ER and asked they told her DO NOT wrap it.she told me it was stiff and that it felt like the nerve was throbing.I was wondering what she could do to take the edge off and to help her leg not get stiff

She needs to see her regular doctor as soon as possible for this leg problem. You did not say how old grandma was and if she is taking any sort of medication. Her regular doctor knows her best and he should see her. A doctor at the ER has to make snap decisions on a person's condition. If the ER doctors could not properly diagnose your grandma's leg, her regular doctor will be able to take more time and know her medication history much better and be able to make a better diagnosis.
