    Need credit
    So you may recall my frustrations months ago about debt on my credit history. I'm happy to report there is NO MORE DEBT. But unfortunately the issue does not end there.

    Now, I have NO credit, and negative marks on my credit from collections (paid), and from inquiries. I have tried getting numerous credit cards, no one will approve me. I can't get approved for a small loan. I can't afford to purchase a new car at this point.

    I just need to know how to build my credit when NO ONE wants to extend me credit. Just another vicious circle in life, I suppose.

    Got to start from scratch.

    Have you tried small credit cards (target, old navy/gap, etc. )

    Ps - congrats on the no more debt... I hope I'll be there one day..

    Yes, I've tried tons of store credit cards, student credit cards, loans... basically everything short of buying a car for a ridiculous interest rate.

    And thanks for the congrats. I only had $200 in debt, but you know my past issues with jobs. But now I can afford the credit line. I just need someone that will give me a chance.
