I want to add lowlights to my hair, would like to know what color should I choose?
Currently my hair color is a 9 to 9 1/2 light blonde, and my natural hair color is dark blonde. I would like to add some lowlights because it's a pain having my roots done constantly. I want to try and avoid colors with a lot of red, gold and brassy tones.

The colors I have suggested are Toffee, Carmel, Honey and Beige, and If I'm not mistaken they all have gold in them is that correct? I would like to get as close as possible to my natural hair color. Any other suggestions on hair colors?

Here's a little bio on myself. I have blue eyes, fair skin with pink undertones if that helps. Your input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much...

If you want to avoid gold then may I suggest a colour close to yours which has more ash in it? If you're getting it done in a salon let the stylist know and they'll show you the range of ashy colours they have.

Thank you for your feedback. I was afraid to get Ash because it has a green base in it and I don't want a green tint to my hair. Yes I'm getting it done at a salon.

    Thanks again:)

Yes ash colours are usually blue or green based but you'll be fine when you're getting it done at the salon :D
