    Where is my 401k?
    The company I worked for from 1988 to 1994 has moved and I want to cash out my 401k how do I begin looking for my money?

    Most 401K are managed by an investment company, you should be getting yearly reports of your money investments ? Who are they coming from.
    Also if the company merely moved where did they move, have you searched for the company

    You need to contact the HR Dept at the company if you don't know who has your money. They should keep the records on who the money was invested with.

    I work for kfc from 1993thru 2000 l never understand very clear about 401k l want to know if l still have money there

    You need to contact the HR department at KFC and ask how to contact the 401(k) plan administrator. Then you call the administrator and see if they have an account in your name.
