I am so clueless :confused: I have a 401k plan with a company that I worked with 3 years ago. I moved and my job now doesn't offer the plan since I am considered part-time. I'm not sure what to do with it since there isn't any money going into it... it is just sitting there losing money right...

I worked for company back in 1998. I left the following year and soon after they went our of business. 5th 3rd Bank held the 401K's for that company. A few years back I called 5/3rd to transfer that money to a new 401K. They said they tried to find me and could not, which I find hard to believe....

My employer allows me to borrow 50% of my 401K. I am using this towards a purchase of a new home. However, the 50% may not be enough towards the down payment.
