    Hormone Levels
I found out I was pregnant and everything was fine and then I started bleeding so I went to the ER, my hormone levels were 28,000 and he thought everything was fine! I went for a follow up with my OBGYN and they did an ultrasound and saw nothing but a sac. He told me I might not be far along enough to see it yet! He told me to wait a week and come back but I started bleeding again so I went in yesterday and the same thing with the ultrasound (nothing but a sac) they took my hormone levels are they were 32,000. If I am miscarrying why are my hormone levels going up?

It's still really too early to tell. These numbers seem to be within the normal range.

It's possible that you have a molar pregnancy, however, they are quite rare.

Here is a link that discusses molar pregnancy.

I am not implying at all that this is what you are experiencing, but you say your numbers continue to rise, which is only one indication.
