This is my first serious relationship, I've dated but never actually had a real steady boyfriend till now. My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months, but in the first few months we were all hot and heavy but due to family situation we have been apart for 3 weeks and I don't know why but after the first week we talked like every three days and the past few weeks once every so often... he has been busy with work and hanging out with his friends and I don't know I just don't feel as crzy head over heels about him like I did and I don't know if its because we have not been together in close to a month or if it is because I'm just not meant to be in a relationship... :confused: help, is it me or just the distance an time apart?

Distance makes the heart grow fonder. When you see him again after that long separation your doubts will disappear.

You really think so? I mean when we were in the same state before I left (we live 30 min from each other) and we would go a week or so ld feel the samewithout seeing each other I would feel this way too... so I don't know if its just really finding out we aren't really supposed to be together, and I don't know how to tell him, not like I always need attention, I don't want a too clingy boyfriend, but I wish he would just go out of his way once in a while and just send me a message saying that he was thinking about me, out of the blue, and do some of the cute things he used to do when we first started dating...

You I think so I mean when I talk to him I remember the feelings, but when we don't talk or see each other I guess I question how I feel.. idk why or if that's normal...

If you are not in love then you are not in love. Are you asking us because you are looking for a reason to not be in love, or are you in love looking for for a reason to not be in love?

Why do you second guess how you feel? Is their an outside influence here?

6 months, used to be hot & heavy now long distance for 3 weeks, barely talks, doesn't feel head over heels anymore... to me signs of falling out of love. Sure you consider this serious relationship?

Well, I mean this is the longest I have ever been exclusive with any guy, I used to go out with different guys, my friends called it 'playing the field' and I mean seems serious I guess to me, I mean I'm only 17, so its not serious serious I guess, I mean I don't know really what I feel I feel confused, I guess, I mean I've back for two days too and he really hasn't made an effort to come and see me, so we've been apart for four weeks now, and I wonder if he's not into it any more because he doesn't text me back nor answer my calls, I mean I just figure if I can't see him talking is the next best thing right? And I don't know if it would be considered an outside influence, but when I was away I went to my old town and saw a lot of old friends and guys I used to 'date' and one guy who I had a crush on, so I don't know if its just because of the way I used to be and being apart from him that make me confused and doubting my feelings, and I mean my boyfriend and I have been some what sexually active and I wonder if it's the reason we are together now..
