Dtv to vcr to TV ?
I just bought a digital to analog converter box (a Zenith DTT901). I do not have cable, satellite or a fancy TV set, just a regular Magnavox TV with antenna. And a Panasonic vcr. In the past I could record one station on the vcr while watching another station on the TV. Can I do the same with dtv and, if so, how do I hook up the cords?

My apologies for being so lo-tech.

No need to apologize. Not everyone needs every new gadget. <G>

I'm supposing you got the converter box the gov will require with the change to digital sched for Feb 09... I haven't gotten mine yet Got 1 TV w/ no cable) but I presume you'd hook the converter first to the VCR, then VCR to TV (just as I do with cable so I can record 1, watch another).

I think you need 2 boxes.
From antenna to a 2 way splitter, into each converter, out of one converter to TV, out of other converter to DVD, then use separate inputs.
If you only have 1 input, use an A/B switch to select TV or DVD to view.
