    Rights in a Divorce
I have been in a abusive marriage for 21 years. I'm finally ready to end our marriage. In Missouri, how does the responsibility work if my husband has run up high credit card bills for his own pleasure. My name is NOT on these cards.

They may or may not be uw ill have tog o to your local court hosue and see and then in the divorce papers ask for him to be responsible for his owen credit that you are not on with him and then it will be up to the judge to decide this as I know in wa st anything obtained during the marriage is community property that includes bills even if they are not in your name but then again the judge can reverse this also you need to check with your local court house or even call a good lawyer for a free conslution and they would also know this good luck
