    Main Breaker at bottom of Panel?
    On a 200 Amp, Main Breaker Panel, If you are changing panel out, and wires are short, and instead of bugging on more, can Main Breaker be at bottom of Panel to eleminate Splicing, Providing switching is side to side. Verticle breaker, down would be on and not code?

    Exactly.
    There is NO such thing as an "upside down" main breaker that goes side to side.

    If you notice, most labels in panels now are printed side to side.

    I am saying there are 2 differernt switching arrangements, 1 Up is on and down is off.
    I know that panel can't be upside down as Down will be ON. A code violation.
    The other breaker type switches side to side.
    Can That panel be upside down OR Main Breaker at Bottom to eleminate splicing?

    I guess I'm kind of confused.
    As long as no breakers move up and down the panel can be mounted with the main breaker on the bottom.
    None of the breakers can be "down-on/up-off".

    Good Deal, thanks, I hate the extra connections. Breaker at the bottom it is.
    Can the whole Panel be mounted upside down to accomplish this if it can't be mounted at the bottom of the Panel? Thanks again.

    You should be able to. Typically you can just turn the whole panel over as opposed to just the guts.
