Hi

Its alwayz been a problem with me that I get too close with some one. And then it's a habbit that I expect many things from others... as in they care for me.. they alwayz think for me. For example I have a GF. I loved her a lot.. and alwayz expect that she also love me in the same way. Which is again high expectations. Even I become too sensitive some times. For example if somebody jokes with me.. I know he/she is joking but a take it on heart.

Can any body help me to get out of this thing. The problem is I do understand what is happening with me but I am not able to control myself.

I have discussed with many peoples.. and they stop caring for others or stop expecting.. but I can't help it.

It can be difficult to see the world and ourselves through other people's eyes. :)

Part of coming to terms with our sensitivity is only matter of having to function as an adult in a "cruel" world... that does not mean that we should lose our loving of others, love is a gift we give them, but, ironically, ourselves with the same gift. :)

Realize you are an independent individual with your mind and emotions and others have their own personalities, mind and emotions. There are differences.
