Bubbles get into a pumps system through the suction line. To check this above ground connections make a mixture of dish deterrence and water and paint it around every joint on the suction line leading into the pump. If you see any activity around the joint you have located the leak. That's about all you can do. If the leak's under ground and the bubbles aren't getting any worse then digging up the system might not be cost effective. Just bite the bullet and let it bubble away. Good luck, Tom

If the leak's underground you can call a leak specialist to come and track down exactly where the leak is. With this knowledge, it is easy to repair and doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. I use United Leak Detection and they find them, then I can go in and fix them quickly. Their web site is United Leak Detection or you can call them at (888)422-LEAK.
