My 10 month old puppy does not listen
When I am at home my puppy is lovely. Once he goes outside he is completely different. He drags me on the lead and runs off whenever a dog or human is in sight. He is a staffordshire terrior so is quite intimidating to people even though I know he is harmless. How can I get him to listen to what I say and not to be so excitable by other dogs and humans? Its like he has never seen another person or dog before and has to run towards them at full speed. Whilst he is doing this he completely ignores me and makes me look as though I have no control over him! What am I doing wrong??

Enroll in dog obidience corses. Reward him with treats when he does listen to you, so he'll do it more often. Also they make a kind of muzzle. It's not a muzzle that keeps dogs from biting or anything like that, but it has a strap going over and under the nose of the dog and around the back of the head, which gives you more control of him. Kind of like how little dogs have harnesses, it's like a halter type thing for big dogs.
