    Hi, thinktwice6868!

Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.

We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.

    Thanks!

Well being that she is an adult now it would be very hard to file. You had lots of chances while she was young. Did he even sign the birth certificate? If not he is not even legally the father.

No he did not sign the certificate. He was no where to be found. Can't we get DNA. He is not denying that she isn't his daughter.

Yopu need to consult a Family Law attorney. Since you never pursued support before you may have a problem here. You could have gotten a support order when your daughter was born even without knowing where he was.

There is an outside possibility you can force him to pay. But the first step is to establish paternity.
