Ok now, while you all have been having duels of strength using weapons of hurt and maim, I have been constructing a cake that will settle all problems between Yakky Ducky" and "Sheriff Stringer". :)
I do apologize that I do not have a photo of it but I am working on getting that and will post at a later later later time long after the cake has served it's purpose. Ok, the bottom of the cage is made of two layers Carrot Cake of course with a layer of Cream Cheese between the layer and of course a soft covering of Cream Cheese on the top, just to make a soft, delicious place to enjoy!!! Now, in the corner of said cage is a little area made especially for "Yakky Ducky" to exercise, so said Ducky can take flight if need be from Sheriff Danger, I mean Stringer! The exercise area is made of Angel Food Confetti Cake the kind that is real springy when touched. In the corner is a special little bowl is a mountain of Fluffy Icing as a reward after the exercise jumping on the Angel Food Confetti cake, or just a nice place to lie down and rest, trying to figure a way out of this wicked looking cage. There is one special place hanging from the top of the cage, filled with a substance that is guaranteed to give a Yakky Ducky strength to jump great heights and to also spring forth in a great burst of energy if that little cage door that appears to be made of wood, ever opens. Oh, I think that substance is ................ ::SIP:: Yep, it is that good Ol' Mountain Dew, guaranteed to keep one awake and alert for the much needed escape.
Oh my, wait, the cage, it looks as if it is made of wood, sturdy to a fault. But wait there is no door! No way of escape for "Yakky Ducky"!!! Sheriff Stringer however is sitting over there in that chair just eying that cage and licking his lips. That doesn't make sense. The Deputy is in the corner just taking it all in, wondering what next??? OK.........the duck is secured!!!!!!! The Sheriff and the Deputy feels certain they can both relax and the Sheriff is thinking of the great vacation coming up with no worries of the Duck causing mischief and Deputy M is just relaxing with hat down over his eyes. NO WORRIES MATE!!!
Wait, Sheriff Stringer sees the Duck moving. Oh, just exercising. Duck is secretly studying her next move! Oh my, the Sheriff is watching and the wood seems to be moving, swaying really and maybe not quite so secure as he thought!!! The Duckster and the Sheriff, eye ball to eye ball now, the Deputy lifts that hat just ever so slightly, not wanting to give away his concern. Yep, Sheriff Stringer is getting up, going over to the cage. He looks closely, could this be??? The cage looks like it is covered in frosting, you know that chocolate peanut butter icing that is so rich and creamy! But why would someone cover a perfectly good wooden cage with icing, moving a bit closer, it all sways when Ducky moves. Closer, the Sheriff moves in...........this cannot be but yet, my eyes do not deceive me, the cage is made of Moist Dark Chocolate Cake and the icing, it can't be that luscious tempting icing. Meanwhile, Duckster is beginning to devour the exercise area Angel Food Confetti cake, dipping it in the ever so comforting fluffy icing! A sip of the good ol' Mt. Dew couldn't hurt ::slurp:::::: Quacking loudly as she sees Sheriff Stringer, touch the cage. Maybe Duckster could bite him and get away but wait, no door. BAD PLAN. He might get mad and really hurt Duckster for biting him....well, he wouldn't really mean to but..........bad plan anyway........The Duckster continues eating and finishes the exercise area but hold on........hold the presses.............hold on just a minute.......she gets a little lick of the floor and it is her favorite Carrott Cake with Cream Cheese Icing on top, in between, it's every where , it's everywhere! Heaven, just like Heaven. She is so happy she does not see the Sheriff putting his finger in the icing, you know just to taste test it but once he does, he has to have a bit more, just one more bit. The Deputy sits quietly still in the corner but sssshhhhhh.....warns the Sheriff quietly....pssst! ppppssssssssssstttt......."Sheriff, beware"! About that time the Sheriiff accidentally puts his finger through a rung in the cage! Exposed, now even more clearly is the wonderful moist dark chocolate cake, still covered in the smooth tempting icing. He breaks off a piece, ever so small. The Deputy is shaking his head :::NO NO NO:: It's too much for the Sheriff........he breaks off an even bigger piece, now it appears to have a hug door in the cage. The Duckster is watching and thinking, ok, now is my chance but even with her greatest effort she cannot force her self away from such a lovely treat as carrott cake with cream cheese icing. Sheriff breaks off another piece of the cage and then another, then another, soon the cage is almost gone as is the floor of the cage and the exercise area and the good ol' Mt. Dew. Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, sweet Deputy just can't stand it any longer. He quietly walks away.
Wait, no, there he is, he just went around the corner and would you believe it, he has brought enough ice cream for everyone and Rebby, the builder of the cake, appears with more cake for everyone. Cake of all kinds!!! Icing galore!!! More good ol' Mt. Dew for everyone!!! Big Bird, ice cream is here. Hey, it's party time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now by this time the Duckster is too full to fly away and the Sheriff is waaaaay too content to do anything harmful to the "Yakky Ducky". A document is drawn up... a peace treaty... well... it is just for now of course until the Sheriff gets back from vacation and the Duckster gets more practice diving and flying to protect herself.
NOW, you really didn't think Rebby would ever do anything to either The Sheriff or the Duck, did you??? Nope, just not my style! Keep 'em happy, get that peace treaty signed (temporary truce) and "everyone plays pretty"! For now anyway!!! :p
Sheriff, "Happy Vacation" to you and Marta, Deputy, I know you will do the honorable thing in upholding the law. Duckster, I know you are going to have a good time and enjoy the "truce" at least for a bit. Alty, I know you will be rewarded for trying to help the little birdie....I am so sorry about the loss. Sneezy, I know that you will do wonderful on your exams and trust your brother's party went well for all. Unky, been missing you. Big Bird, sure hope you enjoy the ice cream! HC, hope you are getting all settled in nicely and comfortably in your new home. Chery, Starty, Clough and anyone else I have missed mentioning, I hope you enjoyed the party! It started out a dark mystery but blossomed into a thing of beauty!!
If anyone thinks I am going to spell check this or check grammar, sorry tf disappoint you. That cake decorating just took it out of me. Good Night and Sweet Sweet Sweet Dreams to all!!
Rebby :p
Ok, so I made a change or two!! :)
