My period was due on the 2nd. And my boyfriend and I have been trying to have a baby since march when I had a miscarriage. My breast hurt and I have to pee more I've never been this late before. I took a test this morning and negative. Do I just need to wait like 4 days to take another one? I just want to know now. If I am I will be sooo excited! :)

Hard to wait, I know... but do try giving it several more days to see if your period is just off a bit. Obviously test again if your period still doesn't show. If you still get a negative... either check with your doctor about the possibility of a blood test (they may or may not do one at that time), or wait another week and try another home test. Your period may just be late this month or you may skip it altogether... but since you have been trying to become pregnant, hopefully that will be the reason! Good luck!

Make sure you take folic acid whether you think you are pregnant or not. As long as you are trying you should be taking it. I hope you are pregnant. If you miscarry again don't let it make you think you can't have kids. Some people miscarry 2 or 3 times before their body is willing to accept a pregnancy. It's an immune system thing. I tried for a long time, miscarried a couple of times, was told I probably couldn't get pregnant or keep it for any real amount of time but now I have two sons. The best thing that may have happpened to me was the doctor telling me it wasn't going to happen. Once I accepted it I think my stress level went down and then I did get pregnant. They say stress keeps you from getting pregnant. Try to relax.
