What do you do on a date at the movies?
    All right, well people.
I decided to go on a date with the 16 yr old. (im 12) I'll be 13 before he's 17.

We're going to the movies, and I'd like to know what to do. (My first date, obviously not his.)

When we arrive at the movies what do we do if we're early for the movie? Cuddle? Would he not like that?

While we're watching the movie what do I do?

    After it all?

Please guys, I do not want or need your opinion about our ages. I know the difference is big, I understand allllll of this.

To answer your question... if you're early, grab a popcorn and a drink, and go sit in the theater, and talk about your day. If it's too early to get into the theater... go play some arcade games.

While you're watching the movie... you watch the movie. What else do you do at a movie?

After the movie? If it's an early movie, you grab something to eat.. . if it's a late movie, you go home.

    ... to further this:

You're 12.. . Why is a 16 year old asking you to go on a date?! He's a sophomore in high school while you're in... 5th grade? 6th grade?! 7th?! I don't care how immature the guy is and how mature you are... do your parents know that you're going out on a date with a 16 year old?!

I suggest this. Don't go on a date with him. If anything, go on a date (why are you dating... at 12?) with your FRIENDS... and tell him to get a date with HIS friends. I can't imagine a 12 year old dating, I'm sorry. You should enjoy your childhood while you still have it.

I also can't imagine what a 16 year old would want to do with a 12 year old other than the obvious.

Don't go on a date with him.

Chances are... he's trying to fool with your head.
There is a CSI episode where a 12 year old girl was humiliated by high school students. She got so mad at the bullies she used her math student to kill the bullies.

    Uh... he's not like that.
Always give everything the benefit of the doubt.
He might just be a nice guy, low chance, but I'll see.

    ? I never said you're an idiot.

I believe that you can handle this... that's not what I'm worried about. (Actually, I'm a LITTLE worried about it... but that's not my main concern). My main concern is this guy's objective.

If it adds anything, I'm a 22 year old guy. When I was 16 or so, the idea of me dating a 12 year old girl is... to be honest, sick. It's nothing against you, not saying you're not pretty or fun to be around, but just the age gap alone... would make me feel weird.

So what I'm wondering is... why is this guy interested in you? Why a girl that's 3 - 4 years younger? Shouldn't this guy be trying to date girls in high school... studying for the SATs... etc?

Well when me and my girlfriend are early to the movies we just talk or go to another store to waste time and have fun
During the movie she usually just rests her head on my shoulder (its hard to cuddle)
But do whatever is comfortable for you since its your first date
Don't do anything that makes you feel awkward

But do your parents know about it
It could be really bad if your parents don't know that your dating
By the way my girlfriend is 14 and I'm 18
Its just we made sure that they knew and they were fine with it just we had to follow rules
Legally they can split you up so go to them first so they don't try to kill the guy
If they immediately say know try to talk to them and set up rules until they learn to trust you and him

If they already know then that's good
    Anyway goodluck

24 year old guy myself and I agree, my little sister is 11 and if I found out a year from now she was dating a 16 year old... I would have a problem with this.
