I'm looking for the name of a movie I saw in the mid to late 90's or early 2000's. It is about a cop about ready to retire and he goes for a physical. He doesn't know it but his blood test results get mixed up with someone else's. He is told he has some terminal illness and doesn't have long to live and is given like two weeks or something. So he goes to work and tries everything he can to get killed on the job because for some reason his benefits won't pay much if he dies that way and his family wouldn't be taken care of. So he tries everything he can to get killed on the job, going to the most dangerous police calls they have but is unsuccessful at getting killed. This goes on and on and is very funny. Later he finds out that his blood work did get mixed up and he did all that for nothing. This movie was very funny and had lots of action as you can imagine. I don't know the names of the actors so I can't help there. I am looking to find the name so I can purchase the movie. I hope you can help. I thought it was called Out of time but found out that was a different movie but it seemed like the movie had a similair name. Please help solve this mystery for me.
