Is over analyzing/discussing my relationship a good or bad thing?
I am 29 and she is 23, not sure that makes any difference to this issue, but worth mentioning.

We have been in this relationship for just over two months, and yes it has moved quickly. We see each other a couple times a week and she stays over. We hang out in the park, talk about everything, family friends, ex's, likes dislikes; as well as spending time quite literally staring into each others eyes, and not saying anything. This is all good, and it is the best relationship/start of a relationship I have been in.

We do talk about how well we fit with each other, and our concerns that we are yet to find anything wrong with each other. How happy we ar, and how much we have in common, how strange we met the way we did etc etc - Yes I know this is the honeymoon period etc and passions will receed and other elements of a relationship will come to the fore.

I am wondering whether I should try and steer the conversation away from talking about us, and how great things are, as we might be setting ourselves pretty high benchmarks, and lining ourselves up for a fall when one of us starts to think differently, which could happen.

    Anyone experience anything like this...

Enjoying that honeymoon phase huh... It's a great phase, everyone loves it. But to say you don't need to talk, that's a red flag right there. Communication is a MUST in any relationship. No need to trust you, as I'm sure you have a great relationship right now. And as for things coming, already found her, and we get along great, but we do fight(find me a couple that won't and I'll guarantee it won't last) we talk through things that bother us. Personally, I think it's better to talk about things that bother us than sweep them under a rug because you don't want to ruin that perfect moment.

You can talk... that's fine. But right now, you have to just... enjoy the ride. Enjoy getting to know someone.

If I were you I wouldn't speak my thoughts too much and show him/her by action and I would anaylze your loved one by not what he/she does but by their action for action speaks louder then words

Romefalls19 is correct communication is a must. Keep the dialogue open, but enjoy the moment.
