    Certificate of Deposit Ownership
My sister and I have a small inheritance, gifted to us jointly by our father. It was in an investment account as Joint Tenants, With Right of Survival going to our children upon our deaths. Some of the money has been pulled from this account and put into CD's, with ownership in my sisters name In Trust For me. Does that give her total ownership to the CD, and limit my access to that money until her death?

You would have to read the paperwork. It dosen't usually go until her death so much as until the you reach a certain age. But until you reach the mark set by the trust it is totally owned by her.
