The best way is to remove their food souce - the insects they are eating. Examine the webs and see what insects are there. You can try spraying with a residual insecticide (any rated for indoors) but it is not as effective against spiders (mostly because their long legs keep their bodies out of it and they don't 'clean' their feet like insects). If you do spray, it's only necessary to do so in the areas where you see the webs. But remember one thing - if they aren't 'dangerous' (black widow, brown recluse) they are helping to rid pests.

Good evening Jhale... I never do this unless I love the product...

There is a product called "Dr. T's Cobweb Eliminator" it comes in a spray bottle. Clean away the cobwebs then spray this product inside or outside. They will not come back for months. I have used it outside on my four front lights that always had a LOT of spider webs, nothing now. The product is FDA/USDA Registered, University tested and guaranteed. The product is all natural and nontoxic.

I usually do not make ANY product recommendations unless I have tried it and know that it is safe and works, this one does (period).

If you are interested then go to this website to order: Cost about $9.00 for a 32 oz spray bottle plus shipping.

Cobweb Eliminator in Pest Control - Compare Prices & Store Ratings at LowPriceShopper.com

    Or call:1 800 570-5442

And I do NOT own stock or benefit in any way from this product commercially. Buy it only if what you read is what you want to hear...

Stringer - I'd not heard of the prod. You know how it works? Is it a repellant or does it 'slicken' seufaces so the webs can't adhere?

Flyer... you hit it right on the button. It does not allow them to stick to the surfaces. It works, better than any other "new" products that not lived up to their promises that I have tried in the past.
