    Inheritance tax
    Hello,
My parents passed away (living in Germany) and left their house to my brother, my sister (both living in Germany) and myself. I live in California and am a US citizen now.
My siblings and I are planning to sell the house (worth around 700000 Euro) and split the amount.
What kind of taxes are due in Germany and US?
    Thank you for your help.
    Rick

This forum is about the U.S. taxes. In the U.S. you do not owe any taxes as there are no tax on inheritances. Some states do have tax but CA does not have inheritance tax.
However, if amount you are getting is more than $100,000 you will file Form 3520.
