Me and my husband have been trying for a baby, with no luck yet. I have a beautiful little girl that will be 3 years old in November from a previous relationship. BUT me and my husband want one that is from both of us as well. I am tracking my periods on mymonthlycycles.com and am doing that whole temperature thing. When me and my husband have sex I lay there for about an hour to give his "lil swimmers" time to swim a little far up there. I don't know what else to do to increase my chances or what may help. I know that it takes some people years to conceive but if there are some secrets that you may have that helped you or that helped someone you know I would really apprecieate it. Thanks:confused:

Thanks that last one helped a little bit. I guess we are just going to do it like bunnies every day lol. We were just doing it during that time frame that I was supposed to be fertile, but this says if we have it in us to do it every night it will increase our chances so we will do that. If anyone else has any other advice I would love to hear it. Thanks anything helps

Certainly don't limit yourselves to when you think you might be most fertile as often times you can be missing the window of opportunity. The sites that help track suspected ovulation only give you a starting place. Many women do not ovulate when they "should"... as in the specified norm.
If there are no issues with sperm count, every day is not usually a problem as sperm are continuously in various states of production and some REs feel more often will provide "fresher", healthier sperm to be present. For many people, every day is just not feasible or they are concerned about not having enough sperm present... every other day is fine as well and preferred by some, even every third day is likely fine (although you may start to see a decline in sperm survival and given the egg is viable for a short time you could miss the mark).
Once you have gotten to the year mark of trying with the charting and such, some doctors will start some initial testing on both partners. Obviously take care of yourselves, making any healthy lifestyle changes, and be sure to take a multivitamin or prenatal vitamin while trying to conceive... good idea for your husband to take a good multivitamin as well.
