Honda civic brakes lights stay on
Have an "89" honda civic. The brake lights will not go off, even when the car is turned off. Drove it this morning and everything was fine, went to store this afternoon and noticed problem when I got home. Any help would be appreciated.

Spray the brake light switch, located just above the brake pedal, with WD-40.

More than likely you have a bad brake light swith. It is located on the brake pedal shaft toward the top of the pedal shaft. Fairyl inexpensive not to hard to change. Give that a try.
