I have been working for a private duty case,
They sold her car,
I bought it with payment agreement that they would take 50 out of each paycheck
In May I was left go,
I spoke with the POA and told them that once my kicked in and I get caught up on another bill I would continue payments, and asked if it is OK to send 100 monthly instead of biweekly. The car was transferred into my grandmothers name because I am on her insurance
June my mother died, very unexpectedly my life stopped
Although at the end of June I did send a check for 100$
2 weeks ago I got a certified letter saying that I did not send any payments and they want all of the money or the car now.
I am a single parent, and can not afford the 2600 or to lose my car
I again spoke with the POA and she claims she did not get anything, checking my bank account the 100 is still there.
What can they do to me? Or my grandmother?
Is there anything I can do?

Did you sign any note or purchase agreement for this car? They can sue you and repo the car.

Thanks for your answer, I did get it worked out, I came up with the money and paid it! Lol
