    What's size wire for my range?
    I'm wiring a 4 prong plug for my new range. The plug provided says it's a 50 amp size 6/2 & 8/2 SRDT?? What do I get for wire and do I need to pick up a 50 amp breaker?

    50 amps.

    6-3 with ground and yes you will need 50 amp breaker if you don't already have one and a 50 amp receptacle.
