I've been single now for about 10 days now. My girlfriend at the time wanted a break in our relationship so I gave it to her. I used the no contact rule and I'm feeling a lot better cause I got really down about this. Now I'm starting to move on and I was wandering when I'm ready to start dating again how could I meet girls that I have a lot in common with.

Now that I have control, your best bet is to be doing the things you enjoy, with the folks you enjoy, and your sure to meet someone. Whether they are to be your new love interest or not is anyone's guess, but they do appear during the normal course of living your life.

I can't tell you exactly how to meet girls, but I can give you my experience on it. I met my present girlfriend at work, I wasn't looking for anything serious at all! And neither was she, we just enjoyed talking to each other and then we exchanged phone numbers to text each other and then we both confided that we had feelings for each other. We began to hook up(kissing) and hanging out, we found out we enjoyed each others company. We took things really really slow, about 4 months of talking to each other, I finally asked her out. We were practically together anyways(talking exclusively) so it was a no brainer ha ha... And we have been dating ever since
