    Re: Friend Making.
    Hey,

Can I ask what line of work you are in?

I guess my advice would be either ask your partner if you can join him in his outings with his friends. Does his friends have girlfriends that you can catch up with?

If you don't want to intrude on his friends,or prefer to have your own circle of friends then I suggest maybe taking up a extra hobby, like tennis or a class learning something or whatever you like to do. Usually friendships are made when two people find a common interest and move on from there. I recently joined up for a boxing class, I have met all these new people. I mean I haven't gotten to the point where I would tell them my dark secrets but I have been invited to their bdays and stuff. Really casual stuff but it's a start. I mean its very rare that someone meets someone and their best friends for life.
Maybe even you instigate things, invite people over for a cocktail party or a bbq, start the ball rolling.

Im single and most of my good friends (like yours) are attached also, so when it comes time to go out partying most of my friends are home with their partners. I have one good friend who is single and we go out, but I also go out with cousins around my age. I also make friends with my cousins friends who I see when I'm out. I mean there is no guide book to making friends. Just be yourself, laugh, make jokes, and enjoy life and people pick up on that and tend to want to associate with you.
I really suggest taking up a hobby, it gives you a break from work and you meet all kinds of people and who knows you might just click with someone.
Good Luck! Let me know how you go!

Hi I can see your older than your mate. Which most time means a person would feel out of place if they hung out with a bunch of 21 year old's. If all your co-workers are male and are married or in a relationship see if they have sisters or cousins. A friend of mind had the same problem she hook up with a couple of her co-workers cousins and she many 4 or 5 friends. Remember friends are hard to find you may have to settle for a few associates GOOD LUCK take care
