That's my mink Stringer, he's a pet, please don't shoot him, he's friendly. I did hear that there are two ducks, we only killed one, we have to find the other, I think we killed the decoy! EEEEKKK!

I have to go now, time to feed those little people that live in my house, they want dinner! Then they need a bath, boy do they ever, and then it's a movie and bed. I'll be back later, keep the home fires burning, and man the bar, okay?

Beautiful Bike Angel! But just between you and me...   OK... Stringer did say I could take his charge card so LET'S SHOP!!! Let's find you a bike you love also. Maybe we could get two alike and be known as "The Biker Twins", you know, just around the park. Something fast and sporty! Do you like red or black bikes?? That red one sure is flashy!! Pretty cool.

Angel, HELP me make these awesome decisions. You see why I don't like to shop, toooooooooo indecisive. You make the decisions for me... Stringer trusts your judgment and so do I. LET'S GO GET ONE! YOU CHOOSE! I TRUST YOUR DECISION! I probably have to give the card back tomorrow and he did say use it as much as I wanted so let's get you something also. :) I don't like helmets but maybe we should get each of us one and leathers also... LET"S SHOP! We want Stringer to be proud of us, right?? I mean he sort of placed me in your care.

You know what Starby... I really thank you dear. Thank you very much. I read some posts like this one cutting down Americans in a very sanctimonious, self servicing way, implying that things are always better where they live and we are pigs. I don't always understand; living in this country all my life and traveling around Europe, Canada and Mexico, I haven't really met people that hate us and our way of life. This spewing hatred for the US is almost like these people are sick and have been "programed". We are not perfect and I really don't think anyone here (that I know) would say that we are. In fact, I think we are our own worst critics... But that's the US...

Have you ever seen anyone from this country say these things over and over about other countries with such meanness?

Sorry, but I too am fed up and I want sometimes to lash back at these guys, but I know, it would be pointless.

So YES, thank you my dear... I appreciate it very much and I am sure that a lot of us Americans do too.

EDIT: The last time I was in Poland Marta and I made friends with a wonderful couple. He had a business where he met people from all over Europe on a daily basis. He would tell me how he would encounter people like this and he would challenge them and ask them why they felt this way and hated everything about the US. Most he said were never in the US and really never met an American. Once he ask one of these persons "why do you hate them so much don't you realize that in a sense they are "our" children since most of them came from Europe?" "How can you hate your own relatives so much?" I personally thought that this analogy was very different, but I certainly appreciated his kind heart. He had visited and lived here for a couple years and left to go back to his family, and he said he got to know some very nice people here.

The pleasure was mine my dear! :) He has put down Canadians in prior posts also. It is ignorant and uneducated, to envelop all people that live in the U.S./Mexico/Canada (AMERICA) in the statements he's made. If his words were bullets, he would be accused of something much worse than ignorance.

Well Angel, as you see, I can get myself into more messes just by being a little naïve. So I didn't just imagine that conversation, right??

Thank you for the vote of confidence. Are you going to get a bike?? :p

I bet Sheriff still wants that box of Cuban Cigars though so I will keep those for him until I see him!
