    Dying my hair Black
    Hi, I'm 17, a month ago I dyed my hair black, using Loreal Paris' Starry Night Black. The dye looked a blue black when it was first on my head, but ever since I took showers, it has been washing out like crazy. A friend of mine who has dyed her hair black told me that I should be using a brownish tinge of colour if I want the black to stay in, because my natural colour is dark brown, and if I used a more darker brown then she said it would go black enough. Now here come my 2 questions:

    1. Is my friend right? Or should I switch to a different brand of colour? Such as Garnier? I heard Garnier's colour sticks better.

    2. Why is the dye washing out so fast for me? I am using the conditioner that came with it, and I am not taking too many showers. What can I do to keep the colour in?

    I used to use garnier's blue black when my hair was black. I never tried anything else, but I swear by Garnier as far as black goes.

    Also, please only post your question once. It will get answered once someone has an answer.
