    1987 Honda needs help
I just bought a 87 Honda Civic hatchback and discovered that the hood latch is broken. The pull arm inside the car is connected to nothing. No cable. Nada. I took it in for an oil change but the folks said they couldn't break the lock due to liability issues. I tried to do it myself, but there is some kind of heavy latch which I cannot break. Anybody have a solution to this problem?

Red Pepper Racing someone there has the part you are looking for, not to mention, they probably have had the same issue at one point or another. Look me up when you get there.

My mileage is 90,000. My muffler is loud and the dealer suggested to have it replaced for $200. My maintenance on this car has been real minimal - what can I expect the lifespan of this car to be? I'm trying to see if it is worth it for the muffler. Thanks Theresa

And then when you shut the car off it stays running and makes weird noised and runs very ruff. What is going...

I have a 1987 Honda Civic, 89k miles. It was running great up until about a year ago. It began to not start up right away. Had the carburator replaced with a rebuilt one in January. The problem with starting the car has continued and worsened. Now I never know if it's going to start or not. When I...
