"yes me and my girlfriend are trying to see if she might be pregnant. she takes birth control but not like she is suspose to. i cam in from iraq in june but she ran out of birth control 4 days before i left and we had sex 6 times after she ran out and i did not pull out during any of them. she is not 1 month late and just started having very very little spotting she is tired alot now for some reason i am not 100% on the other signs on being pregnant she is scared to get a test because of the outcome of it i am returning to the states in 3 months and we will be getting married when i get back she already has 2 kids they are not mine but i am adopting the youngest one who is 6 months i have been her dad from the time she first opend her eyes but the other still has his real dad so i know she knows the signs of it but i dont this will be my first if she is so any help would be amazing and thank you for takeing the time to help me as well as others!"

Yes, of course, even when taken correctly they are not 100 percent, and if they are not taken correctly, they are not effective.

Did you mean to say she is "now" 1 month late? If so, and she is normally quite regular with her periods, it certainly could be due to being pregnant. Being unusually tired happens to many women in the early stages as well.
She really does need to take a test though to be sure and should see her doctor if she thinks it is likely. Hopefully congrats will be in order for both a much wanted pregnancy and an upcoming wedding... :)
