    Lactose intollerant
I am 13 and I have a serious stomach condition in which I am not allowed to have large amounts of dairy products. I can still eat things with dairy products in them, but I cannot have ice cream, pudding, whipped cream, a glass of milk, eggs, or cheese. I am fine with everything... EXCEPT the no ice cream, whipped cream, or pudding... those are my fav desserts:mad:. Does anyone know of milk free ice cream or some delicious desserts that I could eat?

    Thank You,
    Natalie

How about fruits, fruit smoothies, etc. for some desserts. You can get ice cream for those who are lactose intolerant. Does it effect you every time you have some, or only if you have it quite often? Dairy stays in your system for awhile, so it can have an accummulative effect... where it builds up over a few days of having too much. You may find if you just limit what you have... small dish of pudding and then other types of desserts for several days before you have any other dairy type dessert for example, that it doesn't effect you poorly.
You can also get cookbooks that have all sorts of foods, desserts included, that can be made for those who are lactose intolerant. These days you will find quite a few products as many people are not able to handle too much dairy... they may not yet realize it is due to being lactose intolerant however.

You can also eat ice cream made with soy. You can get it at Trader Joe's or your local health food store.

Im severely lactose intolerant so I eat sorbet and sometimes even lactose free brownies. Try googling lactose free desserts and you'll get a lot of good answers :)
