    Can a credit card company garnish wages from social sercurity or from disabilty checks I live in South Carolina.

    Definitely not from Social Security Disability. Most likely not from other SS or diability payments. However, if they obtain a judgement they can go after bank accoutns even though the source of the funds in those accounts are protected. So if they get a judgement you need to inform your bank that the source is protected and not subject to attachment.
