    1977 Chevy Luv
What up everybody, I have a 1977 Chevy Luv on my hands and I want to make it a truck that I can go out in the hills and really do some off roading. What should I do to it to make it look like a off roading bad boy, and so I can protect everything I need to protect. Thanks

It will depend a lot on your budget and what its currently equipped with.

You will likely want at least 35"s on it. Gonna need a lift to do that. 4" should do it. If you have 10 bolt axles they would be a problem as you could be breaking them regularly. 12 bolt a little better but still nothing hardcore.

Unless you want to be a turtle you'll need new gears too which gets pricey. And you'll want a locker for sure in the rear axle if not both. Upgrade the locking hubs if it has the autolocking ones as they are garbage.

Hopefully you have a 205 transfer case as it is the ultimate in beef and can lock each axle independently.

I assume it has the 350 which should be sufficient. If you have the 305 you are in trouble.

Could be lots more. Like I said all depends on what you want to put into it.
