Mom threating to sue me if I try to move out
Well my mom is threating to sue me for a PSP and computer, that I stole when I was under 18 for a drug habbit. She told me she was going to take the money out of my social security checks, its been about 2years since then. I'm 18 now and am sick of living here. She still doesn't give me my social security. She takes all my money to pay her bills. Every time I try telling her I'm going to call social security and get it so my mom can't cash my checks. She threatens to get a lawyer and sue me for the stuff I did when I was a child.. I've just been letting her take my checks every month now since I've turned 18. I never even seen one or know how much she's been getting. There was never a written agreement on how much money she was going to take! I don't really know what to do... I need help! Does anyone know what I should do?

Sounds like more problems than what you've posted but in a nutshell: SS cannot be attached to pay a debt.

Why don't you just move out? She can sue you but even if she wins she can't collect from you.

Why are you getting SS in the first place?

You CAN contact Social Security and tell them that you want your checks deposited directly into a checking acct but you also run the risk of her making you move out if you do. So you need a full back up plan on how to go about everything first.
Switching your ss over, moving out, etc...
She can not sue (well she can sue) but wouldn't win anything . The Judge would most probably tell her she has been using your ss to take care of you and you were her responsibility anyway.
