Tp - link will not stay connected
I have been using a tp - link TL-WN321G in my laptop to receive a wireless connection for the past 3 weeks and until recently had no problems keeping a connection, now all of a sudden my dongle keeps breaking the internet connection for long periods causing me a great deal of stress. I'm connected with the ethernet cable to my bt home hub on my PC but having a lot of trouble on my laptop. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but nothing seems to happen.
I also have trouble the odd time I manage to get a connection with opening internet pages, it just tells me no page to display.
I would be grateful for any advice but not too technical, you'll need to explain thinks simply for me so I can understand.
    Thanks x

I hate to say this but it may be this simple. Recycle the power on your Cable/DSL modem and the router. Turn the router on after the modem has had a chance to establish a new connection.

Do you have wireless security enabled? Is it WEP? Try not to use WEP. Use one of the alternative methods. WEP often causes dropped connections.

Also, if your wireless adapter software is the type that saves profiles, it will also save your past connections in order of preference. When there is a possibility of multiple connections in your vicinity, it will attempt to connect to the one in the highest order of preference. Make sure that your own connection is at the top of the preference list.
