Our computer has been infected with a virus called "AntivirusXP08". How do we get rid of it? I have tried deleting it from the programs, but it seems to be extremely stubborn and doesn't want to leave! Help!!

The Malwarebytes research team has determined that WinAntispyware 2008 and AntivirusXP08 is a fake anti-malware application.

Rogue software uses intentional false positives to convince the user that their system has been compromised and then demands money to remove these false threats.
