        Is my dog gay ?

Hi I have a 5-6 month old Huskey-Shephard,he is not fixed but I was wondering if it were possible that he could be gay?. I braught him over to my sister's house and she has a male retriever anyway my dog was going to town lol at first it looked like "dominance", until we had realized.. they wouldn't stop humping! Is this normal? Should I stop this from happening?

Your dog needs to be neutered. So does hers and kept away from each other until their hormones subside.Unneutered male dogs have a tendency to be me aggressive, restless and dominate. The reports that I have read is most of the reported bites come from unenutered male dogs.
Also there are health reasons to get this done.

I would because , I would be afraid the dominace issue would get out of hand and my pup would end up getting hurt.

If your sisters dog is fixed... then it is most likely a dominance issue with him... probably with the pup as well, I'm not sur ethe pup has sexually matured yet. I would be afraid that the more one tries to out rank the other the great a chance of a fight occurring.

Normally when male dogs mount other male dogs it's a sign of dominance. Get your dog neutered, its never to late, it made a big difference in my dog and he was 2 years old.

Dude, your dog is not gay. Just horny.
Relax and have a good day - and yes, neuter him unless you want to breed him and he will mount less dude dogs! :-)

 Peace

        Hello O:
Does your dog swish when he walks? Does he say "mark, mark", instead of "bark bark"? It so, then your dog's got what's called "Canine Fairy Syndrome".

There's hope, though. I hear tell of a doggy Christian church that can cure 'em.
