    What's next?
    Good Evening guys,
    I am Very new in this site,, Just some some questions because my Fiancée has Filed our applications on I-129F and the G-325 Forms last month June 2008 and my fiancée haven't heard from them till now, we have our receipts number already,, my question is how long does the USCIS will communicate to my fiancée about the status of our Applications?

    It depends on where you filed.... busy offices like CA, TX can be up to 4 months.

    He filed it in Califorina, and while waiting what are the updated requirements that we both should prepare? I would appreciate more clarifications on this matter?

    It takes about 4 months for CA center, when the petition is approved, petitioner will be notified via letter and the case will be transferred to US consulate in your country. The consulate will send a packet with list of documents required, including details on medical report, police clearance, etc.

    The consulate will call for interview after documents received. Timing can be varied by country. Where are you from?

    Iam from Philippines, we been communicating for almost 5 years and he visited me 4 times since 2006, and ever since the relationship keeps growing and stronger as we committed to comminicate one another everyday,through chatting. What are the possible questions would the consulate ask for the interview. Thanks again.:)

    It takes about 12-14 months for your country. Make sure you have sufficient proofs of relationship.
