Salary form

I'm looking for an excel formula to help in my job , I've been working on it for ages , so please send the form to my email your help is needed. Eg: I have a salary of xxxxx ( pounds ) I need to deduct 5% for the first 3000 p , and 7% for the next 4000p , and 9% for the last 4000 pounds. ( did you get it , its deduction for the medical insurance thing I have in my company ) feedback , I've tried combining the %% but didn't work.
