    Washer won't spin
    My washer fills with water, but will not spin. It made it through the wash cycle, but when it got to rinse & spin cylcle it just stopped and I can't get it to even start.

    It could be the safety device built into the lid that is not working. It's a switch that sometimes goes bad and that keeps the washer from spinning. The same thing happened to my 2 year old washer and once the switch was change out it worked great. Can't think of the proper name for this switch - but when the washer is spinnng and you open the lid the washer stops spinning. It's that switch.
