Value of 1923 large $1.00 bill
 [b] Another question for Flying Blue Eagle.. you were a great help in identifying the old silver certificate 1923 $1.00 bill with letter H on it. I was on the verge of listing it for sale on eBay and noticed that between the blue seal on the left and Washington's pic there are several very faint small wavy lines in blues and reds and there are a few on the right hand side under the serial number. They are pencil thin and at first I thought maybe someone had been doing some scribbling but looking with a magnifying glass I almost think they were there when the bill was printed. Is this possible? I just don't want to mislead anyone when I list it. Thanks AGAIN... you have been so very helpful.
Best wishes from Maine. [Email address removed for privacy.]

    Hi, Gram72!

I'm sure that Flying Blue Eagle will eventually be along to address your question. He is indeed very helpful and informative, and as such, I am glad that he is a member of this site!

I did need to remove your personal email address from your post though in order to protect your privacy. People that like to spam people a lot like to send out little "spiders" in searches on the Internet for exposed email addresses like yours, and we don't want you to start to get spammed because yours was listed on a site such as this that gets very excellent exposure when people do searches for things on the Internet. Your privacy is very important to us!

    Thanks!

Gram72 - If you will take a real closde look at even the currency that is printed now days , You will notice that there is colored hairs placed in the currence . This is to help to tell if the bill you are looking at is counterfit or not . They do it to deter the counterfiters, makes it harder for them to counterfit the piece of currency I hope you get what you want for it ,lots of luck,Have a great day and GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
