    Willing to sign

I have a 9 year old daughter and I have raised her by myself. The father has not been interested in her at any point. I have not received any help from him unless the court takes it. My question is He is willing to relinqution his rights. Do I have to get a lawyer for this or can we file the papers ourselves. I live in Tennessee...

IF you have a new partner willing to adopt then yes you can but it is better with an attorney.

If you don't have a new partner to adopt, in TN I don't know a area where the judge will allow him to give up his rights, and if they do, he will still be liable for child support.

Trying to figure this out. You have an ex husband that you had a child with ? And now your shacked up with another man that you have had 2 more kids with ? And he wants to adopt your firstborn ?

If that's the situation then no its usually not going to happen. You have to be married for at least a year in most places. Otherwise what your doing is giving up your child to this man to adopt.

Sign on Bonus Taxrepay & deducting yearly bonus from my sign on [ 1 Answers ]

I got a $5,000 sign on bonus & left the company under 1 year. They held back my $3,033 yearly bonus to deduct it from what I owed them in sign on. BUT they took taxes out of the $3033 bonus before deducting it from what I need to pay back. So they are subtracting $1817 from $5,000, saying I...
