If we all would do what our God tells us we would all be at peace. It is only when we listen to others that we fight each other to enrich our so called leaders.

It depends on the religion involved. The Aztec religion required warfare in order to provide captives for human sacrifice.

Its true that there plenty of religions to chose to follow in this world.
But I think religion should be about peace NOT war, love NOT hate, and all in all about being good genuine and honest person.
    That's how I see it.

I agree that religion should be a way to better mankind.

    BTW
The people worshipping that erroneous way felt like good honest persons.
If an Aztec was asked, he'd defiitely say that he was.

I hate to say this, but religion - as a whole- will itself never be responsible for world peace.

Simply put - There's a dichotomy of beliefs from one extreme to the other and the need to save people or destroy the enemy that always - unavoidably - leads to war.

That only makes sense if we assume that there is no God or that if there is he doesn't care. You can't fight an almighty being and win.

I disagree we can't assume anything of Gods plan or his motive because we really don't know!

That makes sense only if we reject the Bible as being the Word of God where he reveals his future plans for the earth and how he intends to carry out his purpose for it.

To return it to its paradisaic condition and mankind to its original perfection.

With all the different religions on this planet that's a bit of a long shot.

Which is something someone who doubts all religions would say. It might also be said by one who doubts God's existence and feels that human history is determined only by humans. Or else by an agnostic who believes in God but feels God doesn't intervene in human affairs.
