Does she think she made a mistake?
Hi guys,
On my recent post ui explained that I got finished by my girlfriend of a year and that we had a great relationship. I wanted her back and we were getting on really well and then all of a sudden she said she liked someone else. I was gutted and thought that id compete and try to get her back but reading what was said on here I gave up and let her have him. She didn't tzt me much and then I stopped trying to get in touch, she then asked me when I seen her at the gym why I cut contact. She looked really down when I explained that I was going to live my life and have a laugh, its like she wants me to mope around waiting for her. Yesterday I went to get the rest of my belongings from her house. She then text me in general and got onto the subject of our relationship. She said that her and this new guy will never have what we had and that she wishes she could turn back the clock. What does that mean when she says things like that. She was upset when I said I don't know if I wanted to be friends. Why does she do this?? |

She wants her cake and eat it too. She wants to feel you are still hurting for her while she is in her new relationship.

She STILL wants you moping after her. You going to put up with that crap? She's right, she'll never have what you two had with someone else... but YOU'RE going to have better, right?
Don't even look back. Change your cell # if you must, she's going to keep throwing emotion-grenades at you if you don't make it hard/impossible on her. |

NoHelp is right, she wants to be happy but she doesn't want you to be happy. My ex pulled that with me, too. I finally changed my number (took me 3 times because he kept getting it somehow) and he finally got the hint that he was no longer in my life because I WASN'T GOING TO LET HIM TREAT ME LIKE THAT, and you need to let your ex know that she can't treat you like that either.
My ex got all mad because after we broke up I started seeing someone else (we broke up because he cheated) and I said "so its ok for you to see other people while we're together, but I can't when we're apart?" and he said "exactly" so I said "see ya, I am not standing for this." and I've been happier ever since. Cut all ties with her and move on, she has. |

She is trying to keep her on your mind, as a safety net in case this new guy doesn't work.
Stop all contact with her, and get a real life, without all her drama. |
